If a recipe calls for a teaspoon of an ingredient, randomly doubling or tripling it doesn’t necessarily make the finished product better. You changed the recipe.

Not necessarily.

This is why copying someone else’s skincare routine from social media can get complicated quickly.

You’re seeing the products they use, but you may not know their skin, how much they’re applying, how frequently they’re using them, or what else they’re doing.

The product is only one part of the equation.
