Virtual Check-In Policy
At Spruce Micro, your virtual check-ins are a cornerstone of your long-term skin health plan. These appointments are scheduled, personalized services that rely on timely input from you — including updated photos and a completed check-in form — so that your practitioner can deliver accurate, tailored care.
To ensure fairness, efficiency, and consistent results for all patients, we’ve outlined the following policy and expectations for virtual check-ins.
What’s Required Before Your Check-In
Your check-in is scheduled for Friday, but we open up access starting Monday to give you flexibility and support.
To prepare for your appointment:
📸 Upload your progress photos in TouchMD
📝 Submit your check-in form in the "Consents" section of TouchMD
You have from Monday through Friday EOD to complete both steps.
These steps are required to keep your appointment active.
What Happens If You Don’t Submit in Time (No-Show Policy)
Failure to submit both your photos and form by Friday end of day is considered a no-show.
Because this is a scheduled service, no-shows severely impact our operations. When multiple patients miss appointments, it disrupts our workflow, delays protocol reviews, and compromises the level of service we’re able to provide to everyone.
Therefore:
Your missed check-in will be rescheduled up to two months out, based on availability.
This delay is not negotiable and is in place to protect the integrity of our care model.
If You Can’t Complete Your Check-In This Week
We understand that things come up. If you know you won’t be able to complete your check-in, text us as early as possible at (504) 291-6322.
We’ll do our best to help you stay on track or provide weaning guidance where appropriate. You also have access at any time to the Weaning Protocol in the Patient Resource Center.
Multiple No-Shows
If you no-show multiple, Spruce Micro reserves the right to stop automatically rescheduling your check-ins
To resume care, you’ll need to reach out to schedule a new appointment and reestablish your check-in rhythm. This policy is in place to protect both your skin’s safety and the attention we give to all patients on our schedule.
A Note from Our Team
Every part of your Spruce protocol is intentional — designed to support your skin, not just in the short term, but in the long run. When you show up for your check-ins, you’re reinforcing the long-term transformation you signed up for.
We’re here to walk with you every step of the way, but we also count on your commitment to show up. Thank you for being part of this journey with us.
